Beautiful apartment located downtown in the core of 101 Reykjavik. Great view from the balcony over the Austurvöllur garden and the center of Reykjavik, next to the House of Parliament and Cathedral. The perfect location for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Reykjavik, within walking distance of many nice restaurants and cafés, and interesting places to visit, such as the stunning Harpa Conference Hall, many museums, the City hall, Tjörnin, the Flea market and more.
The apartment is located in Pósthússtræti 13, 101 Reykjavík in a building from 1986, which was renovated in June 2015. Fully furnished with two bedrooms, the apartment is on the 3rd floor and serviced by an elevator in the stairwell.
This 76 square feet apartment is fully equipped and sleeps, 4 people.
Several sightseeing day-tours depart from the nearby City Hall parking area. We recommend many day tours and you’ll find some good tour ideas on the front page.
Parking is secured and located in the basement of the building, as well as on the street in the neighbourhood. You will get detailed info on how to drive in and you can also enter the basement by foot. Our parking spot is marked as “Downtown Charm”.
Next bus stop location is Hótel Borg - BUS STOP 3 - Lækjargata
NEXT TO THE APARTMENT:
House of Parliament and City Hall, nice area to explore around the Lake, the Flee Market is also worth a visit and sells pure Icelandic food and handcraft.
The Harbour is a charming area to explore, as well as the Harpa Music Hall
Many nice restaurants are close to the apartment, such as Jamie´s restaurant, Apótekið restaurant, Kopar restaurant, Gott restaurant and the Essensia Italian restaurant
The Bónus supermarket is just 5 minutes’ walk away on Hallveigarstígur, and there is another one on Laugavegur.

Room 2: for 2 people has 2x 90 cm beds with a big wardrobe. You can put the beds together.
1 baby crib and duvet and extra mattress for small kids up to 4 years old
In the living room is a big dining table for 4 to have a nice meal, a big flat screen TV and Apple TV. The front door is in an alley and you can open it with keys that you access in the key box on the wall of Jamie Oliver’s restaurant. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, marked as Downtown Charm Reykjavik.
The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for 4 people.
In the bathroom are a good shower, washing machine and dryer. The bedrooms have high-quality beds and the apartment has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. All the furniture is comfortable and the apartment is fully equipped. The balcony looks directly over the nice area of Austurvöllur, where you can sit both inside and outside and enjoy a great view of city life in full swing.
The prior owner of this nice apartment is the musician, Damon Albarn.
